The Valley Vixens are Tweed Valley Roller's competitive travel team. The team is made up of skaters from our top skill-level group (Blue Stars) and is committed to being competitive, whilst still being inclusive and fun. The team competes annually in Queensland's premier Roller Derby tournament, Tropicarnage and enjoyed travelling to Adelaide for the The Great Southern Slam when possible.
In 2017, Valley Vixens placed third in Division 2 at Tropicarnage.
In 2018 and 2019, Valley Vixens placed first in Division 2 at Tropicarnage.
The 2020 the season was affected by Covid-19 with all games but the Northern Rivers Revolt tournament cancelled.
In 2021 we had high hopes but we were similarly affected; with border closures making training very difficult. A few games went ahead in Brisbane and our QLD members were invited to play with other clubs.
In 2022 we are keeping our fingers crossed that TGSS & Open Season games will go ahead as scheduled.
