Tweed Valley Rollers Code of Conduct
Welcome to Tweed Valley Rollers! Our team is committed to providing a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all members. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for behaviour, as well as the procedures for addressing any issues that may arise. By participating in our team, you agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a safe and welcoming community.

General Behaviour

Respect: Treat all members, officials, opponents, and spectators with respect. Offensive, discriminatory, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Sportsmanship: Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times, whether in practice, competition, or other team-related activities.

Safety: Prioritize the safety of yourself and others. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols during practices and matches.
Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Policy
Tweed Valley Rollers has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination and harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:

Conflict Resolution
If a conflict arises, members are encouraged to resolve issues respectfully and constructively. If you need assistance, please contact a team leader or designated conflict resolution officer. Our process includes:

Tweed Valley Rollers is committed to the continuous development of our members. We encourage all members to take advantage of these opportunities and support one another’s growth.

Our team believes in giving back to the community. Members are encouraged to participate in community service projects, outreach programs, and events that promote roller derby and support our local area.
